Beautiful but very difficult to put on
I ordered the 5mm in gold and it is very lovely. The size is perfect for the dainty look I’m going for and very well made. The biggest gripe I have is that it is EXTREMELY challenging to put in. I read reviews that it’s helpful to get the tool with it, so I did. Turns out, my piercing is large enough that I have absolutely zero issues inserting the earring. The trouble arrives when trying to twist on the head. It’s tiny and the post is really short so it’s hard to hold and to align. Then, once you get the post in you have to twist but it’s in your ear so your ear is sort of in the way which makes the head fall out. It was just the most stressful part of my day having to put this earring back in. I get MRIs quite often so I have to take out all of my jewelry and because it’s so difficult, this may be sitting in my jewelry box permanently next MRI. It took me an hour to get it in and now I’m just frustrated. Really regret getting this. But, aside from that, for those who don’t have to remove it often like I do it’s a beautiful earring and I recommend it. The review is just a bit of FYI for those like me.
